Brazilian stretch mark & scar camouflage

I want the Brazilian Camouflage Method, But I have been advised to have Inkless rejuvenation first. Why is this?

If your practitioner has recommended undergoing a few rounds of Inkless Treatment before proceeding with other treatments, there is a valid reason behind it.
While we appreciate your eagerness to cover your scars or stretch marks as soon as possible, it's essential to note that if the affected skin is uneven, puckered, or wrinkled, it may not be receptive to ink as intended, which can further accentuate the area's visibility. To achieve optimal results, the area needs to be as flat and smooth as possible. However, our clients have often found that our inkless rejuvenation promotes melanin production, which not only smoothens the texture but also adds colour to the skin.

Melanin is what gives our skin its natural colour. In instances where the skin does not produce enough melanin, even after achieving a smooth surface, we can incorporate the Brazilian Camouflage into your treatment plan. We urge you to trust our professional guidance and trust the process.

Pricing Guidelines for Scar and Stretch Mark Treatments

At our clinic, we believe that each client case is unique and requires a personalised approach, making it impossible to provide a fixed price.

However, we offer a pricing guideline to help you gauge what to expect.

We provide two treatments for scars and stretch marks, each requiring a minimum of 2-3 sessions to achieve the desired results in texture and colour.

Although achieving the desired outcome in a single session is rare, we have accomplished it before. Please keep this in mind when planning for your treatment.

After you have recovered from your initial session, your practitioner will collaborate with you to create a realistic treatment plan and decide how many sessions are necessary to attain your desired outcome. For more information on each treatment, including their distinctions and how they function, please refer to our FAQ pages.

We understand that affordable pricing means different things to different people. Our clinic is one of the few in the UK that offers these treatments, and our practitioners are trained by some of the best in the industry, constantly honing their skills. We use premium products with the best possible ingredients for all our services, ensuring that you receive the greatest benefit from each treatment. Our cutting-edge techniques and continuous investment in the business allow us to provide the best treatments available on the market and create an exceptional client experience. We always prioritise your welfare and follow strict health and safety guidelines.

Our services are professional, discreet, and sensitive, extending beyond your treatment day. We're here to answer any questions you may have and provide support throughout your healing journey. We understand that treatments like laser or costly lotions can add up quickly, which is why we offer a more budget-friendly option.

Many of our clients have come to us after multiple attempts with laser treatments yielded minimal results.

We have successfully treated every client who has chosen our method, and they have all been satisfied with the outcome.

We strive to make our treatments accessible to everyone by offering flexible financing and payment plans through our trusted partners. Klarna, Clearpay and PLIM for treatments £1000 and over.

Does the treatment hurt?

At our clinic, we understand that everyone's pain tolerance varies. Typically, our clients report a pain level of 3 to 4 out of 10. During the treatment, you may experience a sharp, scratching sensation, and it's reasonable to expect some discomfort during certain parts of the process.

It's worth noting that this is a medical tattoo, which differs from a cosmetic tattoo, although the sensation is comparable. If you've had a tattoo before, you'll have a better understanding of what to expect. Certain areas of the body may be more sensitive than others, we recommend taking pain relievers before your appointment. If you're particularly sensitive and having more than six areas treated simultaneously, it may be wise to divide the treatment into two appointments.

The procedure is largely non-invasive, and therefore manageable. To help your body manage pain, please ensure that you're well-fed and hydrated before your appointment.

For those who find they have sensitive skin, you can purchase a numbing agent from your local Boots - such as Emla.

What type of scars can be treated?

The Brazilian Camouflage method is a great option for a range of different Scars, Skin Conditions and Stretch Marks. Common Visible Skin Conditions and Scars
Here are some common skin conditions and scars that can be visible on the skin:

 - Vitiligo (In remission 4+ Years)

 - Scarring from medical procedures ( Surgery, C section, breast reduction, implants, tummy tucks & Lipo)

 - Scars from self-injury

 - Burns

 - Skin grafts

 - Stretch marks

 - Hyperpigmentation

It's important to note that Scars & Stretch Marks should be a minimum of 1/2 years old before treatment. This is because it's unsafe to tattoo skin that's still in the process of healing, which can result in an excess amount of melanin surfacing and the scar darkening.

In addition, there's a higher risk of complications and infection. It's essential to ensure that your Stretch Marks are no longer red/purple/dark brown before seeking treatment. If your Scars & Stretch Marks have passed the 1/2-year threshold and have not yet turned white/lighter, we can discuss a treatment plan for you during the consultation.

We may suggest additional options, such as an initial Skin Test Appointment or inkless rejuvenation with a specialist whitening serum.

Brazilian Scar & Stretch Mark Camouflage is a revolutionary medical tattooing technique that has taken the Beauty, Medical, and Health Industries by storm. Developed by Brazilian Permanent Makeup Artist Rodolpho Torres in 2016, this treatment has gained popularity globally. We are delighted to announce that Mia at Sunday Skin UK is a highly trained and experienced practitioner who offers this service, which is still rare in the UK. Our goal is to provide clients with the option to camouflage their scars and stretch marks, helping them regain their confidence and enjoy life to the fullest. We have seen firsthand the positive impact this treatment can have on people's lives.

The camouflage method involves using a blend of skin tone inks and dilution. Our practitioner will expertly mix tattoo inks to match your skin colour, and after the healing process, the treated area will blend in almost perfectly, in many cases, becoming almost entirely undetectable.

While this treatment involves the use of permanent tattoo ink, we dilute it with specialist dilution to reflect the skin's natural translucency.

A top-up procedure may be necessary within 3-8 years.

How many treatments will I need?

Scar & Stretch mark Camouflage treatments can produce impressive, almost seamless outcomes. However, obtaining the desired results typically requires a minimum of two sessions and could necessitate additional sessions based on the texture, size, and overall condition of the treatment area. In some cases, it may be beneficial to undergo the Inkless rejuvenation_ prior to the Camouflage method, as untextured skin yields the best results. While tattoo ink can conceal depigmentation (white patches), it does little to break down and smooth out texture. Our Inkless rejuvenation treatment is ideal for this purpose.
